fake turing test

I'd like to have a contest where 16 or so people go toe to toe, trying to prove that they are human. None of the participants would know what was going on, and the judges wouldn't either. At the end of each round the judges would write opinions on why they made their decision (with quotes). At the end there would be one winner - the most human human - and a litany of evidence.

I could totally beat you in a Turing test.

Hmmm... Actually, the things people fail Turing tests for in real ife include things like knowing too much, not making spelling mistakes, and being rude. It's a more complicated landscape now that people have expectations about computer thought.

Anyway, I'm actually not decided about whether I want to pass the Turing test or not. And whether or not the test really means anything.

You should definitely include DR SBAITSO in the group of people taking the test. I'm looking forward to this competition! Don't do it until I'm in America!
