sort of unrelated, but i am watching carl sagans cosmos on stage6, and i wanted to send you this clip offa youtube because it kind of reminds me of pervieval stuff
It seems to make sense to write everything down on what the world would be like after humans in your mind and maybe THEN read the book??? Does that make sense?
I would never ever read this book. What I meant is that it is a book that I would like to WRITE. Or perhaps AcTUALIZE... Just a joke. Or something.
In describing my art for this opening happening next weekend I talked a bit about "employing science fiction strategies. I think I was excited to learn that I live in Philip K Dick's neighborhood. But it is true too, and I am getting some good ideas. More than sculpture - I was thinking about using strait up sci-fi writing to flesh out a range of futurology ideas. But I will share more when the ideas are out of the cradle.
John - I will check out The Lighthouse. I love Virginia Wolf's writing way much. BTW - send me the secret location thing again - I can barely keep track of where my shampoo is, let alone my friend's underground avatar-lairs. I have a new (school) year's resoultion to keep it real though. I feel pretty bad about not being able to figure it out, but you know - it's like that and that's the way it is.

I feel like Virginia Woolf already wrote this book in the "Time Passes" section of To The Lighthouse. The important part of it, anyway.
Yes. Good point all.
